BART – Bay Area Rapid Transit

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is the fast, easy, low-cost way to get to San Francisco or other cities from SFO or OAK. Round-trip BART fares are about the same as one-way shuttle vans and $80 less then round trip taxis. Taking BART also avoids traffic and is only a half-hour ride from SFO or OAK to San Francisco. You can also buy round-trip tickets in advance from SFO to any city served by BART at www.bart.gov > Airport Connections page.

BART is the car-free way to travel around and see the Bay Area too. Our conveniently located stations are close to many of the Bay Area’s most popular destinations. From the South
Follow the signs for the ramp to “Hwy 101 North San Francisco.” Continue on 101 North to the San Francisco freeway interchange of Hwy 101 & I-280. Move to the far right lane, following the sign for “North 280/Downtown S.F.” Continue 10 miles and exit the freeway via the 6th Street off-ramp. Proceed straight down the off-ramp onto 6th Street. Drive 4 blocks to Folsom Street & turn right. Proceed 3 blocks to 3rd Street & turn left. Continue 2 blocks to Mission Street and turn left. The hotel’s driveway, which will be within one block on the right, is located between 3rd & 4th Streets.

From the North
Take I-80 W toward San Francisco, merge onto US-101 N/Central Fwy/Central Skwy N via Exit 1B toward Golden Gate Bridge. Take Us-101 N/Mission St./Duboce Ave exit, Exit 434A, toward Golden Gate Bridge. Merge onto Mission St./US-101 Toward Golden Gate Bridge/Van Ness Avenue. Turn Left onto S Van Ness Avenue/US-101 N. Welcome to San Francisco

From the East
Take the I-80W ramp towards San Francisco, Merge onto I-80 Business W/US-50/Capital City Fwy W which becomes I-80 W, keep right to take I-80 West towards San Francisco (portions toll), merge onto US-101 N/Central Fwy/Central Skwy N via Exit 1 B toward Golden Gate Bridge, take the US-101 North/Mission St/Duboce Ave exit, Exit 434A toward Golden Gate Bridge, merge onto Mission St/US-101 N toward Golden Gate Bridge/Van Ness Avenue. Turn left onto S Van Ness Avenue/US-101 N. Welcome to San Francisco.
