NCBJ continues its tradition of excellence in educational programming at the Chicago 2014 annual conference. Starting with a program on municipal bankruptcies featuring a panel of preeminent attorneys in recent chapter 9 cases, moderated by the judge presiding over Detroit's bankruptcy case, and ending with two eminent Supreme Court experts discussing that Court's bankruptcy decisions from the past year, NCBJ has planned twelve programs that contain something for everyone.
The first day will include two consumer panels - a potpourri of hot consumer issues and a program on retirement assets in consumer bankruptcies and two business panels - advising the closely-held company and managing e-discovery. There is even a fun ethics program, based on a popular Chicago-based radio game show, and a session on performance skills in the courtroom. All of this is in addition to a plethora of programs presented by the affiliated educational programming non-profit organizations. Join us - you won't be disappointed.
