Join the Community Service Project – Virtual & In-person

Outreach, Inc., of Indianapolis equips youth and young adults experiencing homelessness achieve stability and life transformation. Stability comes, in part, from having a clean and safe place to live, instead of living in a car, the street, or under a bridge.

Transformation comes from building relationships with people who believe that these young people can achieve the goals they desire. It also comes from equipping themselves with new skills, some of which are earned off-campus from Outreach's program centers.

That is why Bus Passes are the Number One Item on the Outreach Inc. wish list of donated items. The young people at Outreach use the Bus Passes to travel to school, or to work, or to internships, to further build their skills or connect with community partners. The Bus Passes are passports to a world of greater self-confidence, and credentials for further stability in life.

"When you come to Indy to get your own bankruptcy knowledge Back on Track, consider helping the young people of Outreach get on the Road to Empowerment by contributing to the Bus Pass Project," Kathleen Bloxsome, Outreach Indiana.

To make a donation, send a check payable to Outreach Inc., and mailed to Jeanne Sleeper, NCBJ Executive Director, 954 La Mirada St, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. Wine and Food Pairing
Friday, Oct 8, 4 pm ET
In-person Experience

Explore how to pair wines with food by tasting wines with various foods. There’s chemistry and the magic of the wines themselves, for sure – but the final decider is your taste buds.

Sample some exquisite wines that Chris Celentino knows from the vine to the bottle. Imported from Italy, but moderately priced, the sparkling, white and reds will introduce some unique treasures, but also guide you in similar wines that can be purchased at your local wine shop. Chris is a respected California insolvency lawyer in San Diego who has a passion for wine. He travels, tastes, blends and imports wines to the delight of his wine club members. Whether for every day or special occasions, his knowledge of wine and acute tasting skills often lead to surprising pairing suggestions that the California Bankruptcy Forum members have enjoyed at their annual conference for many years.

Participants must be 21 and be registered for NCBJ; cost is $125 per person. Register on the NCBJ registration or modify your existing registration to reserve your place in this exclusive experience.

Lace up your sneakers early Friday morning for this annual fun run (or walk, as the case might be!), and enjoy the beautiful Downtown and White River views in the early morning light. Details will be emailed to all NCBJ registrants in August and September and will be available at the NCBJ Registration Desk. Free, open to everyone.
