CLE Reporting 2022
NCBJ coordinates CLE applications and reporting for educational sessions produced by NCBJ, AIRA, ABI and CLLA. Other than ticketed, add-on cost breakfast/luncheons and “by invitation/applications” programs, admission to NCBJ, AIRA, ABI and CLLA organizations’ educational sessions (not meals) is by your NCBJ badge and included in NCBJ conference registration.
Session CLE approval will be applied for in a timely manner to the states of NCBJ registrants. A CLE Certificate of Attendance (up to two states per person) will be supplied via email for credit approved sessions, which varies by state. Your NCBJ registration fee includes CLE fees, if processed in the NCBJ batch for your state.
ABA is contracted for some of these services on behalf of NCBJ for the programs that offer CLE credit as part of the NCBJ registration.
ABA CLE
ABA manages CLE reporting for the ABA-produced educational sessions. You must select “ABA Registration” when registering for the NCBJ Conference to receive ABA CLEs. If you have questions regarding ABA, contact Rachelle Meo.
Everyone is invited and welcome to attend ABA-produced CLE sessions, but CLE credit is only available to those who have paid the separate ABA registration fee.
IWIRC and ACB CLE
IWIRC and ACB sessions are co-located with NCBJ conference and held on Tuesday and Wednesday pre-NCBJ conference. Separate attendee registration through IWIRC and ACB are required for their education and social activities.
All aspects of CLE credit (applications, attendance capture, reporting and certificates) for the own programs are handled by IWIRC and ACB. The NCBJ attendee badge does not include admission to the IWIRC and ACB sessions.
During the Conference
All attendees should sign in and out each day of the conference. Many states have revised their CLE policies so NCBJ is erring on the side of caution and asking all CLE seekers to follow this protocol. Sign in sheets will be on tables near NCBJ Registration in the Crystal Ballroom Foyer at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
Post Conference
Attendees will receive a personalized email from mcle-ncbj@americanbar.org with the link to your Affidavit of Attendance. You must report your attendance by Monday, November 21 at 5:00 pm CT. If you fail to submit your Affidavit of Attendance by November 21, you are responsible for self-reporting and paying any fee(s) to your state(s). Please allow up to two months post-conference for receipt of your certificate(s).
Please whitelist mcle-ncbj@americanbar.org so it does not go to your spam or junk mail folders.
