As we all continue to work to stop the spread of COVID-19, Orlando’s local government leaders are taking action, including the recommendation that visitors and residents wear facial coverings while in indoor spaces per the latest CDC guidance. Start here to discover how our theme parks, attractions, hotels, restaurants and other businesses are working together with county leaders to help ensure your health and safety while you enjoy wondrous adventures in the Theme Park Capital of the World.

These trusted businesses include theme park brands such as Walt Disney World® Resort, Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld® Orlando. Hoteliers like Marriott International and restaurants that range from national brands to world-famous celebrity chefs.

Healthy Travel Practices in Orlando

As the home to the most respected travel brands in the world, from attractions to hotels to dining, the Orlando destination is committed to exceptional safety practices. As new CDC guidance is released, local businesses will continue to update their policies keeping the safety of guests at the forefront, so continue to check back often for the latest updates.

Visit with confidence knowing that our wide-open spaces and expansive theme park and hotel properties give you plenty of room to spread out, and that Orlando’s businesses are working together to provide you with a healthy travel experience.

Please note: Due to the evolving nature of this situation, this information can change quickly.

Local Vaccination Levels

As of November 2021, 76% of eligible Orlando and Orange County residents (12+) have received at least one vaccine dose. County leaders stress to visitors and residents alike that the safest way to travel is to be vaccinated.

Masks

Per current CDC recommendations, Orange County government urges visitors and residents to wear facial coverings when indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Businesses throughout Orange County are also encouraged to require masks in indoor settings, including theme parks, major shopping and retail stores, and privately owned restaurants, hotels and attractions. Federal regulations require masks at our airports. Please refer to the sections below for up-to-date information regarding masks and other safety considerations from theme parks, attractions and other businesses throughout Orlando.

Please bring a mask with you as you travel throughout the destination to ensure you are prepared for those instances where they are required.

Theme parks are open in Orlando. It is important when planning a theme park visit to check their respective Safety & Planning pages. These information pages have the latest planning guidelines for each park, such as which require advance reservations, and which recommend early arrivals before they reach capacity.
